A Decade Long Physics at Jefferson Lab

Scientists at Thomas Jefferson National Lab at Newport News in Virginia have spent more than a decade studying the structure of matter understanding its composition and properties. A series of articles summarizing the decade long physics results from the lab have recently been published at IOP Science. The articles are written for the lay person and are very easy to read. Topics include discussions from the history of the construction of the laboratory to the future of the 12 GeV upgrade currently underway at the facility. One thing is for sure though, the future looks very bright for physics.
