Wireless Electricity

I stumbled upon this TED talk recently. I had heard of this technology a while ago, but never saw it being demoed. See the video after the jump.

The physics behind this idea is so simple, only a genius could think of it. I guess that’s how it is with most problems. It reminds me of something Richard Feynman said,

“The worthwhile problems are the ones you can really solve or help solve, the ones you can really contribute something to. … No problem is too small or too trivial if we can really do something about it.” [Wikiquote]
